About the CCHRSC

The CCHRSC is a pan-Canadian, non-profit organization that addresses pressing human resources issues in the child care sector. Our projects develop research, strategies, and tools to meet the needs of the child care workforce and achieve related goals. Our 15 volunteer board members work in:

• National and provincial child care or labour organizations
• Child care centers, nursery and preschools, or their own homes as early childhood educators or employers
• Post-secondary training institutions
• Government

A note on sector councils

Sector councils bring together representatives from business, labour, education, and other professional groups in a forum in order to comprehensively and cooperatively analyze and address sector-wide human resource issues.
